Projekt Impact was driven by the urgent need to shed light on the often-overlooked stories of girls facing teenage pregnancy, HIV, and STIs in Zimbabwe’s marginalised communities. These challenges are not just statistics—they represent the real, lived experiences of young women who demonstrate remarkable resilience despite systemic barriers. With the cultural and policy constraints on sexual and reproductive health rights in Zimbabwe, we recognised the importance of amplifying the voices of these girls to raise awareness and inspire change. This film as a call to action, advocating for policy reforms that address SRHR issues, promote gender equality, and provide access to education and healthcare. Through this documentary, we aim to empower both girls and boys, challenge harmful gender norms, and promote informed decision-making, ultimately working toward a healthier, more equitable society.
